CARROLLWOOD - "A Christmas Story" is coming to the Carrollwood Playhouse for the first time.
Rehearsals are under way for the holiday performance, set to open at 8 p.m. Nov. 30 at 4331 Gunn Highway.
"A Christmas Story," by Philip Grecian, is about 9-year-old Ralphie from Indiana, who wants his ideal gift for Christmas - a genuine Red Ryder rifle - and the extremes he goes to in hopes of getting this gift.
The play will remain open through Dec. 22.
Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays.
Tickets are $14 and $12 for students and seniors.
