TOWN 'N COUNTRY Armed robbers forced their way into a man's home, and stole about $24,000 in jewelry and cash, sheriff's reports state.
The incident occurred about 7:30 a.m. Sept. 26 at a residence on Sunnyslope Drive.
Three men knocked on a 55-year-old Town 'N Country man's door and claimed to be law enforcement officers before forcing their way inside, reports state.
The robbers demanded money at gunpoint from the man and a 74-year-old woman also at the residence, then ransacked the residence, removed the items, and left in a late 1980s or early 1990s Honda, reports state. No further descriptions were available of the robbers.
