Tourney Pays Way For Kids At YMCA

WESTCHASE - A golf tournament to help pay YMCA membership costs for children and families with special or financial needs will he held Nov.3 at Westchase Golf Club.

The West Park Village YMCA Express will host the second annual charity golf tournament, benefiting the Northwest Hillsborough YMCA Building Strong Kids Campaign.

'Thanks to this event we can continue to offer programs that make a difference, and together we can build a stronger community,' said Jose Colindres, executive director of the Northwest YMCA.

The tournament includes dinner, a silent auction and tournament contests. Hole-in-One Prizes include: a 2008 Nissan Altima, a 2008 Hyundai Veracruz, a Home Computer Package and a PING Iron Set. Registration is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. the day of the event, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The golf course is at 11602 Westchase Golf Drive.
