Take A Horseback Ride, Help Save An Animal
CITRUS PARK - Hitting the horseback trail could help save an animal and keep Equestrian Club Country running.
The facility, at 4902 Timberlan St., is having its Twilight Holiday Trail from Thursday through Saturday until Dec. 20.
Participants can ride horses or ponies and follow a decorated trail on the 10-acre parcel.
Although the rides are free, Glenda Smith, owner of Equestrian Club Country, is hoping that folks will make donations.
Smith said the facility, which is dedicated to rescuing horses, cats, dogs and any other animal in need of a home, needs to pay $12,000 in taxes to remain afloat.
Rides are offered from 5 to 8 p.m. For information or to make a donation, call (813) 407-6805 or visit www
