Some Instrumental Gifts

ODESSA - After American Legion Post 147 dissolved its drum and bugle corps, its bugles and drums were passed along to the University of South Florida Music Resource Department and to the Florida Orchestra and the Florida Orchestra Guild.
Irene Rubenstein had originally donated musical instruments to Post 147 when it formed its drum and bugle corps, and she was on hand when the instruments were passed on to USF and the orchestra and guild.
The USF music department's drum line will use the donated instruments for practice, and some will be distributed to elementary and middle schools in the area for use by students.
