CITRUS PARK - Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores of Citrus Park will unveil a new look Thursday as the 46,018-square-foot store reopens with a three-day celebration.

Each day from Thursday through Saturday the first 100 guests will receive a free gift card.

Shoppers who spend $25 or more will receive a free tote bag, while supplies last.

The company said the new design, featuring brighter lighting and a new layout, will serve as a template for future new and remodeled locations.

"It looks like we have more room, but it's the same square footage," said Richard Lewis, merchandise manager for the store.

The approximately 10-year-old location at 12635 Citrus Plaza Drive will offer expanded aisles and new item categories.

Founded in 1943, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores has more than 800 locations nationwide.

"Our hope is that customers will come into the Tampa store and feel inspired by our selection, impressed by our new look and pleased with our team members' knowledge and helpful service," said Darrell Webb, chairman and CEO for Jo-Ann Stores Inc.

Normal store hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

To contact the store, call (813) 792-2287.
