TOWN 'N COUNTRY - The effects of Amendment 1 on property appraisals, as well as other community issues, will be addressed Thursday when the Bay Crest Park Civic Association holds its quarterly general membership meeting.
The meeting takes place at 7:30 p.m. at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 6100 Memorial Highway. Those interested in snacks, food, desserts and drinks can arrive at 7 p.m. for refreshments, according to a Bay Crest Park news release.
Hillsborough County Property Appraiser Rob Turner will speak at the meeting about Amendment 1 and its components.
Association treasurer Gil Leimbach will report the results of the latest membership drive.
Norm Coffman, chairman for the membership drive, is asking volunteers to visit residents and ask them to organize block parties, share interests and encourage residents to join the association.
