TOWN N' COUNTRY - Two women broke into their neighbor's unlocked Town 'n Country area home and stole $16,000 in money and items, including rings, a camcorder and four guns, Hillsborough County deputes say.
For a still-unknown reason, the victims suspected the women of committing the act, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. Deputies arrested the women this morning.
Most of the items were recovered, but a $7,000 wedding ring is unaccounted for, deputies say.
Deputies arrested Amber Pierne, 25, and Jessica Martin, 24, at 12:10 a.m. today.
Pierne and Martin were each charged with armed burglary and grand theft and four counts of grand theft firearm. They remain in Orient Road Jail. Their bail has not been set.
