Circle's garden tour impresses guests

TOWN 'N COUNTRY - Members of the Town 'N Country Garden Circle recently provided folks the opportunity of checking out seven gardens.
The sixth annual Tour of Gardens was April 19, and the garden circle featured gardens from Pat Acres and Twelve Oaks. The tour also gave participants the chance to attend a banquet and a plant sale.
The event raised $1,964 for the circle. In the past, the organization has used the money to fund projects at Shimberg Gardens and other gardens throughout Town 'N Country.
"It was wonderful," garden circle president Fran Gamester said of the event. "I heard nothing but wonderful comments. All the gardens were beautiful and the homeowners were nice and went out of their way."
