Garza completes training

U.S. Military Academy plebe Samuel James Garza recently graduated from the academy's summer basic training regime, which is known as Beast Barracks.

He is a member of West Point's Class of 2013. Garza graduated in June from Sickles High. He is the son of Mary and Frank Garza of Lutz.

His maternal grandparents, Patricia and John Foley, live in St. Pete Beach, and his paternal grandparents, Lilia and Francisco Garza, live in Pearsall, Texas.
