The Bucs gained 39 yards on their second, third and fourth plays from scrimmage, but an incomplete pass and a sack of Jeff Garcia forced them to punt from their 44 at the end of their first drive. The Bucs didn't succeed in getting the ball away. Corey Smith cut through the middle and easily blocked the kick.
