I can't believe that two purportedly professional people of Highlands County are having a public catfight, and worse yet, they are bringing it into the courts. What a waste of our law enforcement and court's time and money over a "flashlight" valued less than $30. It will be interesting to know how much this will cost the taxpayers of Highlands County. ...more

What has changed this school year with physical education? Students in K-5 public schools are required to take 150 minutes of physical education every week. There is not a requirement for middle school students, but schools are encouraged to provide 225 minutes of physical education per week. High school physical education has been reduced from 2.5 semesters - including one semester of health - to two semesters of physical education, with health integrated. ...more
